Washed my car the other day and noticed I was getting water drips from
the dash....arg. I'm guessing from the wipers. Can anyone post me a
picture of what I need to repair this on a 70 swinger? I am thinking there
are some bushings and foam gaskets involved.

Frirst thing is to try and find the leak. Spray some window cleaner around the outside of windshield. The take an airhose and blow from the inside out, look for bubbles. Little harder to check the wpers but the same method can be used. Just harder to get to the underside of wiper arms. There are 2 different gaskets for the wipers. 1 on the outside just under the cowl metel, which can been seen from the top of car, its blackand bout 3/8" thick. The other is on the unerside of dash, lots of things in the way but can be done, hte foam gasket bout 1/8". Hope this helps. I will look for a pic.

Wiper pivot seal kits are available at ebay and other places. The large foam like rubber seen from outside really just fills the void around the pivot. If it fails water can enter the cowl but then water enters the cowl anyway so...
The leak is more often the vent box to cowl seals or the windshield gasket. Hope this helps
