this may be a little basic, but I'd rather ask the question than find out the hard way. installing a new water pump on my 273 and the old bolts are pretty crappy, anything special about thes bolts? as long as the threads and sizes match.

Make sure you get the correct bottoming tap and clean the threads especially get the old crap out of the dead hole and use a grade 5 plated bolt minimum and plated flat washers.

I've used stainless steel bolts of the same size. thread, and length as the originals and have never had a problem.
