Guys what the best hose to connect this tight turn connecting the water pump to the intake manifold? The hose I was using just wasn’t quite right….

Get a stock molded intake bypass hose. 65'

Looks like a Magnum manifold and LA front cover and water pump?
Regardless, get a 45* NPT (3/4", I believe)x 1"barb fitting and install it in the manifold with the barb oriented towards the water pump fitting.
Then get a standard '70 & up 1" bypass hose and install it; you may have to trim it to fit.

Trim 2 ribs off of your brass fitting, that will help.
