Hello. Who would you say makes the best door weatherstripping. Some of the stripping is to hard and you have to slam the door. Thanks Ken
 
I haven't yet tried SoffSeal, but I've found the weatherstripping made by Metro Moulded Parts to be of good quality. Shop around because you can buy it much less expensively from their distributors than from Metro themselves. They don't make this clear on their website, and while it's easy to find their online-shopping catalogue, it's relatively hard to find their list of distributors. Rockauto.com carries their stuff, so you can grab part numbers off the Metro catalogue then plug them in on RockAuto. Be advised, when you install new door weatherstripping, the doors will be really hard to close for the first few weeks until the new weatherstripping takes a set. Unless you've been adjusting the door trying to get the old weatherstripping to seal, don't readjust the doors until at least a month has gone by.
