Saturday: Got the engine and trans ready to install in my Duster.
I put motor mount on the freshly painted 340, New Dampener and lower pulley, Valve covers, etc. Chased the header bolt holes too and did a couple of hours sanding in the engine bay.
She is bagged now and ready to install when I paint the engine bay. I also painted my trans support and shifter bracket that bolts to the pan. When they dried I bolted them up also.
I also cleaned out my storage unit too and shoved it all in my shed to save on a bill.
That night I was the designated driver while my wife, son, daughter in law and 3 friends got totally hammered bar hopping. We got home at 1:30 and I started drinking. Everybody spent the night and we went to bed about 6:30 am.
A night to remember for sure! :-D
Sunday: Got up at 9:30 still tipsy had a shower and cleaned the house while the coffee was brewing. When we were done we made bacon and eggs for everybody. Only 2 got up. Oh well more for us.
I sat around for about an hour drinking coffee with Tammy and talking about all the crazy crap everyone did, then went out to fix the shed I had crammed all that junk in the day before. We ended up spending about 2 hours cleaning and reorganizing it.
I cut up a bunch of metal for the pile, finished getting my trans ready for install, wrestled with the dogs for a while, took everybody home who left their cars elsewhere and took Tammy to Arby's.
When we got home I cleaned the garage until I got on here a little while ago and charged up the batteries in the boat in case I want to go fishing tomorrow.
Tammy was asleep on the couch already when I came up here.
I guess I should turn in soon too. It was an excellant weekend!! Good times with good friends and family and still got a crapload of stuff done. 8)
I sure am sleepy though. Lol.
