Hello, anybody ever use one of these? I bought it and was listed as a 440 intake. My research indicates it is for a B series engine (383) and will not fit a RB series engine (440).

Had one just like it except it was a 4bbl design and for a 440. Runners were about 2 in. long then turned into a huge plenum. Tried it on my car. It was horrible. Nothing till about 4500 rpm and still not great. My weiand single plane xcelorator was way better. I think they were for nascar motors.

WC.......as in Winston Cup?? Looks terrible, but at a superspeedway............trying to figure when they would've used the"B" in NAPCAR....................and a 6bbl.............

Reviving an old thread, but I bought one of these off ebay because it said it was for a 383-400. I was out of town for a while and when it came i thought it visually looked too large for a B block, especially sitting side by side to a team g B block intake i had nearby. Measured the ports on it and it was exactly an inch wider port to port so it is for an RB block... and the ebay guy stuck me with it because I didn't realize it within 30 days :-( Just curious if you ever measured it to make sure it was B vs RB. Also, after reading this thread it sounds like I would have not been happy with it's performance anyways
