I just wanna know if it's best to just buy the weighted flexplate or add weights to a neuturally balanced converter. Also does any one know the part number for the weighted flexplate for a 360 with a 904 trans.

I would buy the weighted flexplate, for one thing if you have your motor balanced you can supply the machine shop the flexplate and balancer then they could balance the motor without having to use expensive mallory metal. Two the convertor if it's left neutral can be used on other engines.

This flexplate says 727 put it has both the 11.125" & 10" convertor bolt circles so it will also work with a 904. You can buy a B&M flexplate for a 904 but it only has the 10" convertor bolt circle so you are limited on the convertor you can use and it is no less money than the dual pattern flexplate.
