The build has been slow, yup .. the transmission issues was a big $$$$ set back but, finally got exhaust on it , insurance, plates and took it for a little scoot around my small town

Seems like something is odd in regard to trans brake, it may have gotten better after it warmed up, just not 100% sure yet but, the trans 1st , ok, click it to 2nd , seemed " normal" // then to 3rd, its like you jam it into park ?

I wasn't sure how much fuel was in it so I drove back home and will try another drive this weekend and see if I can figure out what's wrong now ?

I was hoping you were long past the Copeadope experience, but it must be like a boomerang.....just keeps coming back! Hopefully it's just something screwed up in the valve body. Chris Andrews is a member here, but I can't recall his screen name. He may be able to point you in the right direction to fix it.

As in it acts just like you lock up brakes

trans brake , without letting button out , car quits moving , the cure varies , some times you just let off button and engage again it backs up, some times you have to take it out of gear and put it back in before it will move again

state farm insures all my stuff , have for 40 years , I've never had an issue .. yet ( lol )

If its locking up when high gear applies then second gear band is not releasing. Maybe they torqued the band and didn’t back it off. Or valve body problem. Kim

I was able to mess with it a bit on Saturday , and the brake still seems odd but, I do believe we now have 3 forward gears I wanted to drive it once more before shuttting the door but, I got some virus crap I am fighting

It feels pretty fast
