It's a classroom, right? Little 3rd grade kid walks up to his tacher and asks, "Mr. Thomas, would you ever be mad at me for something I didn't do in the first place?"

The teacher says, "No, Jimmy, of course not."

Jimmy says, "Are you sure? You promise?"

The teacher promises.

Jimmy goes, "Okay, I didn't do my homework!"
