I got to take the Dart on a little road trip today. 8) I met my parents and younger brother up at the Walden Yacht Club on Lake Conroe for Thankgiving lunch. This is the first time I can ever remember that I have actually gone out to eat for Thanksgiving. I've always done the 'cook the turkey at home' thing. I must say, this was the most relaxing and stress free Thanksgiving I have ever had. :D

The weather was BEAUTIFUL, compared to what we have been having the last two weeks. It was totally clear skies :sunny: and around 65° for the high. I got to drive some nice winding two lane roads through the country. I even stopped to take a few pics of the Dart in front of the marina.

I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving!

Yo Greg, drop some coin and treat that puppy to a roof! Then you can turn a really nice car into a very beautiful car! Also, what kind of rims are on it? Very unique!

Glad to hear your T`day was relaxing. I had a nice day too.... We visited the Mother-in-law and had a delicious dinner. Added bonus is that she lives 1/2 mile away. Home in no time :thumrigh:

Unfortunately it needs a lot more body work than just the roof. :( But I'm going to get started on that soon I hope.

The rims are Cragar Luedekes. They are just a stamped steel wheel, chrome plated. I would not recommend them unless you just want something cheap. I've had them a year and they are already starting to show signs of rust around the lug nuts. They would look better if I got off my *** and put the center caps on.

Well I guess I'm lucky I don't have rusted panels to replace. But I do have numerous dents and dings, especially on the passenger side. Here are a few more shots that show it a little better.

I already have a new rear valance for it. And I may go with a fiberglass hood. All the rest of the dents will need to get repaired and then I'll get it painted. I think the roof is actually the only major body panel that doesn't have any dents. I'm thinking of just sanding it down and painting it with POR-15 for the time being. Then after I get the rest done, I'll put a vinyl top back on it.

Being from the rust belt i would much rather have dents and dings than rust and rot to fix. :thumleft:
