what are good spark plugs to run on a 340 and gapping ?

Why would anybody around here wanna do somethin stupid like that? Sounds too much like common sense.

Just for ***** and grins I'll chime in... Rusty pretty much hit the nail on the head. They aren't really special. A spark plug pretty much does what it's name suggests. Leave the science for the manufacturer. Use the plug that came standard for the engine. Now I will say, I've always used champions. Never had any problems. My dad bought an old truck many years ago with champion plugs and he had that truck for a long *** time. Never replaced the plugs,i think it was about 12 years. Who knows how old they were when he got it. I'm a set it and forget it kindof person. These plugs let me do just that. Although I can't remember ever having a spark plug problem ever when using the manufacturer recommendation. Aside from the old 2 stroke motorcycle I had with blown rings lol had to get a new set of plugs every few weeks. It was BAD! Lol
