first off-my first attempt at posting a pic so bear with me LOL
68 barracuda fastback
just to the right(drivers side) of the wiper motor
those 3 vertical holes with gromets

any guesses

they were like that when we got it,just dont think they are supposed to be there
the car was originally from Texas-so a good guess would be for an aftermarket/jury rigged AC setup
car has no AC-not equiped as far as I can tell-nothing says it ever had it

the car also had a torque strap on the drivers side motor mount
and a sticker in the back window for a drag strip
it COULD have been raced-
but....
318(non numbers matching but a 68 motor)-904 -7 1/4 2.76 open rear
maybe it was swapped out, raced and then put back together?
who knows-it was brought up from texas in the mid 80s-orig blue-repainted dk green when it was driven up-if this sounds familiar to anyone let me know-very long shot but hey you never know

Thanks

sorry have to resize it-2 KB too much

there thats better
I know its a mess-but need to pull the tranny-wanna put the motor and clean everything-replace the headers ect

thats what I was thinking
I am not sure of any options the car may have had at anytime in its life that would require something like them
so now I need to make a few plugs to fill them up for now

thanks guys

Someone may have popped the holes there to route a manual oil and temp guage setup. Where they come thru on thte inside is real close to where the arms for the wiper motor go across so whatever it was couldn't have extended into the cabin much without going down to clear the wiper linkage.
