I have a dilema
what colour with a black interior

OK so it is a plastic model-1:25 scale
years and years ago-I bought a superpack kit
it came with 3 muscle cars
64 Pontiac GTO-I went red on black convert
66 Ford Fairlain GT-black on red-same paint just reversed
and the 68 road runner-I never finished it cause I didnt know what color to go
I got the interior in black, but what color for the car?

I have since done a 32 ford roadster-red on tan
I did american graffiti coupe for my dad
I have a 56 ford pu-blue on blue-it is wrecked but I want to fix it again
I did a 69 cuda fastback-cut it up an merged it with the swamp rat model 8-) it got wrecked as well but may be fixable
I also have another 3 pack
all 69s
ford torino-the box is red on black but I am not sure
hurst olds-gonna be white
barracuda fastback-box is blue on black-again not quite sure

I dont know when I will get back into these-prob winter-but I want to start deciding

opinions?

thanks

Black allows any exterior color you want. However, even though the 68/69s are almost identical to a 70, I don't like the 70 colors (Sublime, Plum crazy etc) on a 68 or 69. To me they just don't look right.

Guess you could always claim a "999" paint code and special order an ORANGE which always looks good with black.

I had a 1969 RR which was the Sunfire (I think it was called ) yellow with the black treatment on the hood, looked great.

Black goes with nearly anything. Since it's a model, it doesn't matter if the passenger roast, does it? Here are some suggestions

codes are from the 68 color pallette

A3 Silver metallic
Y5 Medium gold metallic
K6 Turbine bronze metallic
H6 Bright red
B5 Bright blue metallic
T6 Medium tan metallic

well I went with black int so that any color will work
the box was white if I remember correctly
but I am not a fan of white cars-and now with the white olds I am set
I just dont want all the cars the same :)

just looking for opionions
the other ones I put together were just more slap them up and go
this one I wanted to do it "right"
since it is half together I prob should finish it :)
