What color should I paint my engine?

HEMI orange would would would look killer against the green, Body colored engines are pretty much an 80s thing, when I open the hood I want to hear COOL ! not, Wheres the engine??? & take it easy with the polished parts & chrome, too much looks tacky.

Well, I painted it orange. This is kind of a low budget deal so it's not going to have any chrome or polished aluminum parts. Painted a few parts black for a little contrast and sharpened the engine bay up some so I think it's going to look nice. I'll try to remember to post a couple of pics.

Too late, lol. It's already orange. That would really stand out against the lime engine compartment, though!
