Hi All:
Im thinking of changing the current shifter (bench seat style) to a Hurst 5388575 in my 71 Demon. They are originally used in 1970-1974 E BODY (Cuda / Challenger) and 1971-1974 B-BODY w/console (Roadrunner / GTX). It looks like I will need to fabricate an extension bracket to center and move the handle to the rear a few inches. Has anyone used this shifter and if so can you post a few picks. I am basically looking for a pistol grip set up with a short throw, and the car has buckets. Any pics of what your using and suggestions much appreciated.
