like said in an other thread Im about to buy 1994 ram van

Id called the dodge dealer in town and ask what is the dif

the answer was a 4.10 gear and a 200milimeters dif

I ask him what the hell it is and he couldnt answer me
it look like a dana 60 but I know there is also a dana 70
that look like a 60 and it aint good for us

I know I will need to cut it but at 500$ for all van it aint to expensive

It's called the Metric system , 25.4 millimeters equals 1 inch so if it's exactly 200 mm it's about 7 7/8 inches .

They came with a 8 3/8 (same as 8 1/4) , 9 1/4 or a D60. I have only seen the D60 in a C-class RV. I think the dealer is steering you wrong.

my 94 2500 van has a 9 1/4. There is an options tag on the bottom side of the hood that tells you what everything is and codes

9 1/4 is a common rear in those. Looks a lot like a D60. Great rear end, but not many performance parts available.

If it has a 410 then it is most likely a dana. The 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks and vans had 355 9 1/4's
