Can anybody identify the following two items for me?

The part numbers on the NOS emblem are:

2417952 and 2417953.

64 valiant? top looks like an added piece for a dash or possibly exterior trim? the bottom, couldn't tell ya.

The round one looks like the emblem for the center of a 1964 Valiant grill. it should have four notches on both sides for grill. Mike

I agree the bottom piece looks like a hood ornament. Where these two parts packaged together?

Yes, the bottom piece is a hood ornament. Both pieces came together in a butch of Mopar parts that I picked up. The round emblem is a Valiant grille piece which is almost 5" across with three mounting studs on the rear of it. I was trying to figure out the exact year. Not sure if the hood ornament is Mopar or not.

I would say the hood ornament came off a kaiser or a fraser, It's definately an american hood ornament.:cheers:
