I was think of some kind of wax or something to coat the tires.
Leave them inflated ?

Does anyone have any experience with this ?

put the car on jack stands and put the tires in the house.(cellar)

I don't know if this is the best way, but I have an original Polyglass tire (my spare), from 1971. I never used Armorall on it or any other tire cleaner...

I simply put a light coat of Petroleum gelly (vaseline) on it every 2-3 years, and it still holds air, I haven't added air to it in probably 5-6 years and holding at 28psi.
That baby is full of fresh '70's air, less polluted, but possibly herb scented, lol.

On the car, I have 2 Good Year Eagle ST's on the front, they date back at least 15 years or more. They are slowly starting to vent or crack, along the rim diameter. I think this is due to using Armorall, and then sit in the sun.

And taking the wheels off is a good piece of advice.

All the best!

My tire buddy told me to over inflate by 10psi.....cold pressure.

Armorall or some good rubber product and WD40 the wheels if they are chrome steel or AL

No flat spots doing it his way and no rust or corrosion on the wheels come spring.

That is if the wheels are on the car....if not them put them in a large trash bag individually after protecting them per above and tie a good knot...sealed for eternity.
