Sometimes the auto parts clerks try to sell me what they have on hand, rather than the correct size hose. So I thought I would ask beforehand what size vacuum hose is used from the A/C dash control on a '65 A Body with factory air that connects to those three vacuum operated doors in the A/C box. Thank you.

Hey make sure it is vac hose also not WW hose it will collapse.

According to my metric dial calipers, the nipple on the new replacement A/C control switch is 3.35mm or 0.131889".

I found a "blue" hose 3.5mm = 0.1375" (9/64" = 0.140") hose on ebay I wonder if that's it? But then again, 1/8" would be a tighter fit.

4mm hose = 0.157"
5/32 hose = 0.15625"
**1/8 hose = 0.125" (red on Ebay)
3mm hose = 0.1181"
(3mm and 1/8" are advertised as the same hose)

Go to auto zone with a piece of hose. Take it to the back and match it up yourself. Tight is better than lose. LOL. make sure the end is hard to squeeze shut. Washer hose is thin wall.
