I was fixing all the rat chewed wires on my 318 dart to see if the engine would run and was wondering what this little cylinder was next to the coil. It seemed to be wired to the coil at one point. I thought it was the condenser but that's in the distributor. Any ideas what it is?
It also looks like the coil may have been wired backwards (according to the diagrams in my book) as the green wire on the negative side goes to the ballast resistor. Thanks for the help let me know if you have any questions.
