Yes it is the throttle kick down for the transmission . I have one on my 318 it is was from 74 dodge dart swinger.

That's the kickdown/transmission pressure rod and throttle cable hold down. It mounts to the manifold.

The slotted rod does connect to the carb and there should also be a spring that hold the rod forward. If you're using a Holley, there's an additional piece that can be purchased to adapt it and it mounts to the throttle itself.

Never run a 727 without it (with the exception of some modified transmisions).

The piece on the left , the longer one goes down the firewall to the tranny linkage and it connects to the slotted piece up near the carb as posted earlier by someone else .

yes its just i recently bought a uncomplete linkage . and the guy at the shop pointed it out me. was figureing out what peice was missing thanks
