I dont have a clue what is supposed to be there but im missing it. You can see kinda whats supposed to be there but still cant figure it ou. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It has a push in cap / plug. The opening is for adjusting the vent window frame I believe. If the hole is what you're asking about!

looks to me like a outside mirror adjuster mount

Duh, that's probably it, but the adjuster is on his door panel in the pic.

I was looking at that, it might be a later ad on or a different year.
but that hole with the notch looks just like a mirror adj to me

Those 2 pictures show totally different doors, but the 1st pic is a 72 and back, and that hole is for the remote mirror adjuster, the purple duster is a 73 up

Your pic is of a later model car, and your door is a earlier model. Should be for the mirror adjuster. Find an older model pic.

Thanks a ton for all the feedback guys. Im going to have to look into the remote mirror adjustor, any9ne know if classic induatries sells the parts to get it working?
