What is this..??

There's a "foam" type tape? that is under the door end caps. Can't find anything online saying what it is. I want to replace it as it's brittle, but not sure what to use. Has anyone here replaced it..??

That's what is left of the door weather strip. Front of the door? They are different for hardtop, sedan or no vent.
