First time rebuilding a Holley 4160. When I took the primary bowl off, this was laying in it. Anyone know what it is or what it does ? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a baffle for the vent in the fuel bowl.

Thanks ! That got me started in the right direction. The 2 pins by the vent are the only ones it fits. Now I have to find out which way it goes on.

In this exploded view the baffle is part # 37 it blooks like it is installed as per picture 2 in post # 4.
That also appears to have the most baffle effect in the first pic the vent opening is wide open.

Top makes sense if it is preventing fuel slosh from below which I think it is...?
