Quick question regarding a non A body.

I'm looking at a 1976 Dodge D600 for sale, and it's a big block 5 speed with a two speed rear axle. What kind of transmission would this be? Just trying to do some research on the truck. If there's anything else worth mentioning let me know!

Thanks!

We have one as a grain truck, its a 4 speed +2, in other words, 4 speeds with 2 speed axle. Transmission in it is a NP4530. I believe the 5 spd version was a NP540 series.

Okay I'll check it out. I've never heard of these trucks having a 5 speed this early.
