So i'm in proccess of building my 69 dart as a 340 with X heads ferrera valves, .655 solid roller comp cam, harland sharp rockers, ross pistons with 11.7-1 compression, forged H beam rods, victor intake and berry grant 750 carb. Going to be in front of a vertigate shifted Hemi 4 speed and a strange Dana 60 rear axle with 4.56s or if you guys have any other suggestions go for it, with 29x10.5 15s and cragar keystones. any ideas what kinda times I should expect out of this setup? it'll have a rollbar setup and full interior with subframe connectors, solid engine mounts, tubbed of course and a fiberglass six pack hood. not sure what weight it will be as it is not done yet and the engine ran 12.29 in a dart with an auto and small tires with 4.30s

Well depending on weather and altitude our 340 ran mid-high 11's in a full body barracuda with open headers, slicks and low 12's in total street trim other than drag radials. 340 .030 over cast crank, stock rods with arp bolts, 10:5:1 .590 MP cam, x heads with 2.02 valves and pockets ported only, crane 1.5 roller rockers with stock shafts with billet hold downs,M-1 intake,We tryed 750 vac, 750 dp, 850 race demon and a 950, it ran the best with the 850. 727 trans with a 8" 4400 stall 8 3/4 rear with 4:30's and a 28"x9" tire.

I hope you have an extraordinary set of X heads for that cam.

I ran 11.6's with a 11.4-1 340, hydraulic cam, ported Edelbrocks, 4.30 gears, pump 93 at 3240 pounds.

I'd like to know the 60ft time on that 12.29 as well as the convertor stall speed.

I'm going to say slower than 12.29 unless the 60ft sucked because of the small tires.

don't know the 60 ft it was a 4500 stall with 4.30s
went through the traps at like 6000
extremely loose car as well like readjust fender after every pass kinda car
