Yeah if you just want to get it done and drive around leaving it a 4 door is your best bet. Now, if you really wanted to the best way to make it a 2 door would be just to move the pillars back, cut the rear doors off some and add it to the front, then just weld the remainder of the rear doors up and boom, instant 2 door wagon. Although its probably a little more work than that. :D

I know this is heresy, but I really want a 96 caprice, impala clone, 2 door, and a 6 speed,or a vista cruiser like in that 70s show.

Just like this Rani, except paint it white 500 wheels for the 500 wagon
I like the engineering of the 383 block :D

That car is/was for sale in my area.
If I wasn't putting 3 kids through college,it would be in my driveway.

:D I know but I like it :blob:

As someone who loves wagons and have owned a few (wood and no wood) I prefer no wood. Pics of a couple I have owned.

Super wagon, magnum 500 wheels. But please don't keep it a 383. 440 six pack is a grand idea! :D

I voted for the plain trim with the 383 but why not plain trim with a 440?? The wood grain was so disgusting back in the day I haven't got over it yet! A nice car with the woodgrain is very cool but my initial impression is negative and it takes an extremely nice car to wear woodgrain and get past my initial thought of that vinyl siding.

I say go super bee wagon with a 1/4 stripe and 440 with white letter tires!

Wagons are so cool.Not many people want them.They are cheap(takes some hunting),and different.See a musclecar rumbling,no one looks.Rumble up in a wagon,people freak out.

Wood grain on wagons is cool.....

Wagons can be cool if done right and with that said only you can determine what is cool to you. Personally I like the 50s wagons.

Not a Mopar....but this was my Woody wagon until last year.
I sold it to finish the Demon. Wish I still had it!

id give my left arm for a wagon....so many fond memories of my grandpas nomad and roadmaster.

I voted for R/T wagon. I did that with a 69 Coronet wagon years ago, it always got a lot of attention whereever I went. Wheels on wagons are everything. Heres my 69 Rebel wagon.
