I don't know about the rest of you out there but when I read "i've never owned a carb before" it just made me feel old!
What parts should I buy for my engine?

I just checked the engine a little more, and noticed the piston heads are a little worn and probably need to be replaced.
The Mancini Racing engine rebuild kits posted earlier (http://www.manciniracing.com/enrebkit.html) have a C package with cast pistons, are they ok to use?
Or should I go with forged instead?
The valves however seem to be in pretty good condition

Mopar runs thru my veins!
Cast is ok for lower compression factory cam engines. If you plan on putting anything decent in for a cam and running a mid to high comp ratio, then forged is the way to go.
