what rear in 68 barracuda?

I'm picking up a 68 fastback barracuda on Saturday - I have yet to look at it, but the price was too good to refuse.

It's an original 318 car - what rear would typically be found in a 68 318 car?

Could be an 8.75 but more likely a 7.25.

7 1/4 but if you are lucky it could be an 8 3/4.

auto it's probably a 7 1/4 but you could as an option get a heavy duty rear end. If it's a stick then it should be an 8 3/4.
