What Rear In A 41 Dodge Truck?

Guy @ Work Just Got A 41 Dodge Truck. The Rear End Looks To Be O.e. And Looks Like A 8 3/4 W/ Press On Drums But It Does Look Just A Little Odd To Me For Some Reason,plus I Didnt Think 8 3/8 Were Used Until The 50's? Any Ideas On What Hte Truck Should Have Came With?

The 8 3/4 wasn't used until late 1957. While they look simular, they share nothing in common with each other. Junk it and install a 8 3/4 housing.
