I have 72 Demon 4 speed car. I will be swapping in a mild 440 (Cam, intake, headers) in the next year. Has a 8 3/4 with 4.10s. This is just a street car with maybe a dozen trips down the track a year. Currently it has stock springs with air shocks. All I have known over the years through my uncles is Super Stock springs and Caltracs. The word has been the SS springs have went downhill in the quality department. I know Caltracs are the way to go and have been proven. I honestly do not need to something that fancy just to be used on the street IMO. I would like to get the rear up slightly. Currently running a 235/75/15 tire and want to get to a 275. My questions are...
What spring is the go to now a days?
Is there a certain lb rating?
What shocks would be recommended?
Is there any other hardware I would need to round up?
I hope I provided the info needed to assist me. Thanks in advance!!
