What rebuild kit for my Carter 4bbl AFB?

I want to rebuild my stock Carter carburetor that came on my 67 383 4speed formula s. Carb is an AFB 4298s and the motor is basically stock. The carb bogs down a bit when I quickly step on it. I'm hoping a full rebuild that I plan on doing myself will get the carb running great. Any suggestions for the best rebuild kit parts needed and should I buy a vacuum guage to test vacuum when I tune the air/fuel mixture?
