I am thinking of putting a new radiator in my Duster. I have a 4 row in it now. been looking at some and they just don't make a 4 row anymore. they keep asking about tube size. is the tube size more important than number of rows. tubes per square inch. I have a 440. someone enlighten me here.

Look for more area before depth. A deeper core has more "wind resistance".

You also want to look at how many fins per inch the core has. The more fins per inch, the more area for cooling. (too high of fins per inch [fpi] can also restrict air flow).

Then get the best for your application. If you need the extra rows, you need to make sure that you have a good fan and shroud to pull the air through the radiator.

I did a champion 3 row on a hot 360 no problems, it hits 190 on a 90-95 degree day. Also mine is a 22 inch, very happy with it.
