what should i expect to pay to have a 904 rebuilt?

And does anyone know a good shop in northern california?


Looking for it to handle 400-450hp(from an occasional nitrous hit). Not really sure what needs to be done for one to reliably hold at that power level.

I just got my 727 rebuilt that could handle 450 to 500 hp. They guy that rebuilt it said that it would be the same price for a 904 . I paid 750$ for the rebuild of the trans and 100 for a rebuid of my torque cand this is in Illinois

i think i got quoted one time, 500 plus parts...if i brought them the trans...
