I'm changing to big bolt pattern and would like to know what spindles I have? The car originally was a 1972 swinger v8 car. The owner before me upgraded to front disc but they are small bolt pattern.

What Oklacarcollecto told you is true.
You have a Kelsey Hayes disc brake set up on your car, that was used on the 65-72 A Body's.
So when it was converted to Disc's, they used all the factory parts from the donor car.

What are my option for changing over to big bolt? Is there a kit or do I have to change upper control arms, ball joints, and spindles ect?

You can get new upper control arms but they will be China junk.
You can buy nice tubular upper control arms from a member here.
You can buy nice OEM used upper control arms here or eBay and maybe someplace local if you get lucky.
You can buy new rotors and remanufactured calipers.
If you get some good used OEM spindles and backing plates you will be set.

If you were close to me we could make a trade because I have everything you need.
