I have a 71 Dart that I changed from power to standard manual box. All new stock steering components. Just wondering on your similar car, what is the stop for your steering when turning lock to lock. Is it the steering box or where the lower ball joint bolt contacts the LCA?

Thanks........!!!

Bump stop is on the steering knuckle, IIRC.

I was just concerned with the fact that you can produced quite a bit of torque with the steering wheel and pressing up against the little nub on the LCA may deform it a little. I did do a disc changeover to Wilwoods, but never noted where the stop contacted before tearing it apart.
