Can some one help me? on the steering gearbox, what size is that nut that is attached to the arm, I thinks its a 1 3/8 I know 1 7/16 is just a little big, I am trying to get the gearbox off so I can blast the engine compartment and paint it, Please save me some trips to the tool department at sears.

............U will also need a pitman arm puller..........y dont u take it apart at the linkage?........u can rent a tie rod remover then........kim........

Forgot to mention that....I just bought one from Can Tire. $20 I had to change the steering box in the f150, and I knew I would need it again for the cuda. so for $20

For the future you can easily tell what size socket you need by using a tape measure to measure the nut.

It looks like about 1 and 9/32 or an adjustable wrench.
