what to look for in BB mopar motors?

I'm going to look at some mopar parts-- he has 2 BB core engines 1-383 & 1-440-- is there such a thing as a truck/ tall block-- ? Or are ll bb mopar engines the same?
also has a 727 tranny-- basically you have to take some junk for the decent stuff--- I'm not going to build any BB items any time soon--

The 383 is a B series big block i think and the 440 is an RB. RB is for raised block or raised deck. As far as a truck/tall block i dont think there were any specific truck blocks but im nowhere near an expert. I know on the 440 there is an ID pad in front of the intake next to the distributor that once decoded will tell you the year and what vehicle it went in.
