What type of plastic is the cluster on 72 dart? And what compound would repair
this type of plastic?

If you can find the letters ABS somewhere on the back you can use plumbing solvent cement. Don't use it if there is no ABS. I don't know what type of plastic it is. Sorry.

i used some pieces from a donor part, cut them like a small welding rod, used an electric solder iron with a trigger and simply "welded" the parts. worked real good. you can play with the iron a little and some other items around to melt in a patters or smooth depending where the break is. etc. i used the head of nail to smooth and the other end to scratch a wood grain back in (hot of course) its a little of time and labor, but cheap and better than glue. just fyi.
