Well dad's thinking of getting rid of the engine in the coronet to start a new build,
It's a 1972 440 block
Bored .030 over with torque plates
Deck has been re-surfaced
Align honed mains and cam tunnel
440 source rotating assembly stock stroke
CNC ported stealth heads with Hughes springs, retainers and locks
440 source 1.6 roller rockers and hold downs
Smith Brothers .080 wall push rods
Hughes solid camshaft
.620/.626 lift 254/260* duration
Victor intake with an 850 Holley
440 source cast valve covers
440 source distributor worked to 18 initial 36 advanced
440 source aluminum water pump
440 source sfi balancer
7qt Microsoft pan with windage tray
Pickup drilled to 1/2" with hv pump
Maybe 250 total miles around town and 5 1/8 mile passes at the track

What do you guys think is an honest price to sell the motor carb to pan?

Also what's an estimated value of a 727 trans rebuilt with reverse manual valve body and ati tree master 8" converter?

I think a lot will depend on the paperwork
if you guys have the receipts for the machine work, the parts and what not, as well as the time slips for those 1/8 mile passes that will help you get the best price

that, and given the option to hear the engine run in the coronet before you sell it

You're going to have to provide more info, e.g., time slips, vehicle weight, dyno hp, etc...

7.32 1/8 @94mph
3550lb
Have all paperwork from machine shop and parts, yup, it's still in car and can hear it run, pictures from build process as well. Heck could even go for a drive
