My brother-in-law is just finishing up a multi year restoration of his 67 Chevelle SS 396. It looks REALLY good. It's all matching numbers. I'll post some pictures soon. Anyway, he bought some new Coker redline tires, and the red lines are pretty badly smudged. He asked me how to best clean them up. I was not sure, so I thought I'd ask you guys. I thought maybe a bit of Soft Scrub on a soft cloth, but what do you guys think?

Simple green to clean, 303 Aerospace as a protectant.

Solvents will remove the good stuff from rubber and cause cracks and checking.
