Whats the diff between these 2 hurst shifters??

Junkyard tire iron shift rods. Welder and a vise and a supply of scrap car parts.
You probably should know these were done before brewers or anyone were even in buisness. When you couldn't buy it for whatever reason you made it.
These fit the a-body. Welded heated and bent to clear cross member. It has worked for me everytime didnt matter what I was putting the 4 speeds in.

Very nice!! Outta tire irons??

Ok, so I chkd Brewers site out, they state the Comp Plus has 1/2" dia holes for shifter rods, so I will need to use bushings for the factory rods.
Rods I have are factory, so will probably be keeping and using(someday) the
Comp Plus shifter, bushings and factory rods.
Gonna measure the rod holes tomorrow on both shifters to be sure.

SSBA, thanks for pivot tube trick. Rebuild kit aint cheap.....$100!!
