I know there will be a fabo tent but we should get like a forum dinner going at Heath. I'm driving up by myself so I am trying to find something to do after the show besides sit next to the road by myself lol

Which is the big night in Heath? Fri or sat? I know I'll be looking for something to do at night.
I can sit next to you with a dumb look on my face if that helps.

Count me as one of the few that got a ticket for doing a burnout! Officer said it was because my car likes to fishtail to one side! When I asked him if I was the only one getting a ticket that night, his answer was..."not if I can help it"!!!

Friday and Saturday are about the same, there is always a big cruise-in at the Chrysler dealership with a pig roast, a band, and plenty of cars! We like to eat at the burger joint not far from there that has the big glass doors that open up to the road! Good burgers, TALL steins of the bubbly, and lots of cars there too!! Oh, and the waitresses are HOT!!! Look for me in the black GTX, I hope I'm not the one getting a ticket!!! Geof

I remember going up when I younger with my dad. We were leaving Heath at about 11 after most of the Burnouts died down and my dad decided to do a burnout in the caravan. I wolnt have the dart up there but you bet I'll be contributing to the clouds in my mustang. Anyways if anyone else is up to grab a drink and some grub between the show and the Burnouts let me know.

On the Mopar Nationals FB page there is a write up about the new mayer of Health being pro-active towards the tire burning crowd. He's worried about spectators being hurt, for example if someones throttle stuck open while doing a burnout. So this year they are choking the cruise down to one lane in each direction and ONLY tickets being written, NO warnings.
I was looking forward to doing the cruise at least one night, not sure if I will bother now. its not the burnouts and tickets that bug me, the single lane deal is going to have traffic at a stand still,,,lame.

The cruise is being moved. Not sure where but on one of the threads here it is mentioned. Anyways I'll be burning rubber somewhere. If they want to screw the town of heaths economy over by kicking us out then I'll do my Burnouts at the light outside of town.

I'm looking forward to some fun after the track. And I'm staying on Brice Rd.
No burnouts for me I'll be in my Jeep and want to make it back home , but maybe I should bring the Mustang? No I'll get hung if I did that.

I stayed at the red roof inn on Brice last year. I may have been in the wrong area but there wasn't much going on at all. Some locals got wild in a parking lot but that was not the smartest set up since there was people surrounding the cars.

I'm hoping to find some rims to mount my street tires so I can drive up. If I am not doing Burnouts in my brown 73 swinger then look for a silver 2000 gt. I'll be burning rubber all night.

I'll be there. I'll be in the swap area. Maybe selling keys, not sure yet. Friends of mine have been buying same swap area for years but they aren't selling this year. Wanted to just hang out this year. I'm bringing green Dart, leaving the Duster at the house.
Not sure where I'll be in evening. Friends like to high end it when it come to food. I'm not into that, but wife likes it. Not even sure where I'm staying yet either. I need to book a room still!
