Looks like it needs full resto. It's not #'s matching. The started at $40k, now down to $36k. Am I crazy to think that it's a high asking price?
 
I remember this car from over 20 years ago. I always thought it had the original eng/trans in it but perhaps somewhere along the lines it was swapped out. I gave this guy a call and threw a few names out of possible mutual friends we had but he didn't care much to reminisce. This car is a real deal AAR. I think I have a picture or two of it back in the early 80's. I think he will realize that the asking price is still a little high with the market correcting these days. I'd like to see it in the $24-$27 range (even without the #s matching drivetrain).
 
If it isn't numbers matching does it even have a Six Barrel T/A block? or just a standard block?
