The adaptors that go from SBP to BBP how do these adaptors work? Won't the original studs be in the way? Do they mess with the tire backspacing? And finally, whats the opinion, safety wise, good, bad?

they add an inch to the wheels backspacing, placing the wheel closer to the fender and on a bodies with a 15" wheel it does cause a problem with front tire clearance. if you were to add big bolt pattern disc brakes will move the front tires away from each other in the same manner 1" both sides

They bolt onto your hub just like a wheel. They are thicker than the wheel stud (mostly) and countersunk so the old studs will not interfere. The adapters have studs in them in between where the old studs come through. I had some years ago and installed some aluminum wheels I bought cheap, but sold them before I even drove it. A lot of people use them, and they should not cause any trouble as long as:
1. Your wheel does not rub (aftermarket wheels?)
2. You don't have crazy horsepower or do "Dukes-boys" style driving.

I like the wheels pushed out a little, but I don't like rubbing.
