Here is a video from the back of my 73 Dodge Dart smallblock checking out the wheelie bar. This is a 10.16 pass at over 129.

WOW!!! like holy crap man......Now THAT'S one hell of a ride, I for one am thoroughly impressed. My car is just an 11.5 piece and I don't know how I would handle it if I ever got enough traction to lift the wheels.

NICE CAR

I saw this car run last week at Infinion. Thats one heck of a small block. The Pontiac wasn't so bad either.

Here is a frontend cam. This video was after I rebuilt the frontend. Look no shimmy on landing.:D

Thanks!! We put wheelie bars on the car so it would not drag the bumper on the track. The bars work great. If the bars were any longer and closer to the ground I would have to call them Sissy bars. I never worry about this car not going straight. We will be going to Sonoma drag strip on Wed night. I am driving the wheelie mobile and lisa will be watching as she is recovering from open heart surgery.

Good show! Not very consistant though.

If you would get the frontend to stay down that baby would easily be in the low to mid 9 second index!

Can you get us some pics of your front end? I am building a old Demon that has had the inner fenders cut away and the snout bars added but it only goes to the firewall as of now. How did you reinforce the front end to take the wheelies?

Also can we get shom shots of the wheelie bars? What kind of rear end suspension are you using? What gear are you running? How high do you stall the converter before launching with the trans brake?

I will be running my 416 with a 904 for now and am in the process of figuring what I will do as far as converter / brake / rear gears. Running 1/8th only.

It has ran its fastest pass ever dragging the bumper.lol Not very consistant? This car has won more bracket races than most people dream of and I don't know where that comment comes from. Here are some of the trophys from bracket racing. This Dart is one of the most consistant cars at the track. She is also a 4 time track champion in our Et racing series. The car is legal to 10.00 and thats where we keep it.
