When I grow up, I want to be an order selector for Peapod. For those not in the know, they are the home delivery service for Stop&Shop, a large grocery chain here in the Northeast. I placed a 20 item order with them the other day, results: 3 miss picks (errors), 1 omission. I think I can attain that level of competence.

we use a similar service at our local grocer
i got it set for "replace with like kind when out of stock"

it is hilarious what some people think "like kind" is

wal-mart still hasn't figured out that substituting a "family size" 30 count package for the same price of a "normal" size 6 count product is not going to work out very well for their profit margin.

Happens almost every single time to our order for pickup, sometimes 2 or 3 times in the same order.

That I could live with

The one that really got me the other day was the garlic

I had ordered a 32 Oz jar of garlic for 5.99

The picker couldn't find it so they subbed out two 4.5 0z jars at 2.09 each

That makes it more then twice as expensive
