When you need more storage, you make a mezzanine and furnace,compressor room.
I saved alot of the wood when I tore down the old garage,2x4,2x6 and 2x8 and some osb sheathing.
All I needed was some 2x12's for the main beam and a few more sheets of sheathing.
Don't mind the mess,I have a whole lot going on at one time.

Now add another level under the mezzanine and above the car for bumpers, fenders, long trim etc.

My solution was to take over a bedroom in the basement! Still another basement bedroom left, HUMMMMM!

That is actually what I plan to do,but only partially.
I want to save just enough room to roll a 4 post lift under it,if I need to move it out of the way for any reason.

Having to clear out moms house didn't help with that
