Where can I find hood hinge clips?

Hi all,

Where can I find/purchase those "round, tin, spring clips thingees with little teeth" that hold the hood hinge in place on a-bodys. This is for my 74 Swinger. I had to cut the old ones off. Is there an easier way to remove these thingees.

I'm sure they have a name and would like to know that too..

Check with a well-stocked Ace Hardware that has all the little drawers with fasteners, etc. I saw some recently. There are other sources for those push nuts too.

Thanks 70duster440. It may be some time before can get to a real Ace Hardware. I live in NW Missouri 80 miles from a real city. The folks still drive horse and buggies here...I'm not kidding.

I was hoping for some online source for the push nuts...any more help?

Got an answer on moparts.com. They have them at RestoRicks for $1 a piece. Well worth it for me.
