where can i get tranny decoded?

got a 4 spd with a 69 dart just bought trying to decode numbers on side of it, has tag on it from swapmeet says 68 barracuda.

these are numbers i found,does have 340 bell housing on it

Can you read the numbers from the ID pad on the passenger side? The ID pad should have the vehicle's VIN number. There should be a number starting with PP833.The last four numbers after the PP833 will provide the year of the tranny based on Chrysler's 10,000 day calender. For example, day 1 was July 29th, 1961. Say the number is 3672. That means the tranny was built 3672 days later. If you divide 3672 by 365(one year) you get 10 which is 10 years later.
